Is Billy Gene Is Marketing a scam or not? Hmm…

I have seen a bunch of videos suggesting yes, and I totally disagree. I have been a student of Billy Gene Is Marketing since 2017. I joined Billy Gene’s advantage after stalking all his free content on Facebook and YouTube. Probably for about 6 months in 2017.

I finally joined in 2018 because he and his team are really good at laying out simple steps at how to setup Facebook ads.

My name is Brooke Cheney and I own and operate a small shooting school here in Harwinton Connecticut. I am what is called a “solopreneur.” I do all aspects of running my business.

Those folks who have said that Billy Gene is a scam haven’t done their work to make it work.

Billy Gene doesn’t promise you any results. You get what you put into it.

Now, I know everyone learns differently. I’m one of those slow learning types. I mean really slow.

One of the most important lessons that I’ve learned is that you need to define your client. I was reluctant for a good long time (imagine a couple years).

Then I finally had that a-ha moment.

I knew that I wanted to serve everyone, which is still true. However, when it comes to marketing it works so much better when you target a specific group of people.

Billy Gene and his team have taught that from the beginning. I was the one that was so thick to really get it through my head.

My guess is those folks who say it’s a scam either didn’t even try it or they’re like me and needed to hang in there just a bit longer to get the results they were looking for.

Last May I was on a call with Billy Gene and we walked through an entire campaign creation for my school. I executed the ad and BAM! It was so successful I had to turn it off because I couldn’t handle all the texts and calls coming in and that’s an awesome feeling.

Even better is finidng that Billy Gene is so much more than marketing. He touches on growth, how to get better at sales – you know, closing the deal – the tech side of things, cool guest speakers from time to time.

Having my weekly Zoom meeting helps me stay on track with my company. I look forward to my Tuesdays and spending time with Billy Gene and his team. They make learning fun and entertaining.

If you’re on the fence about joining I want to let you know this is not a get rich quick scheme. You invest your time and your money. You need to do the work.

I can honestly say if you just do what Billy Gene says you will get to your goals faster than if you try it on your own. Billy and the team just want to see you succeed. And you can, as long as you don’t give up.
